Welcome to Stretford Uke

Given the latest government advice, we are going to cancel our ukulele jams and singalongs, until further notice. This is incredibly disappointing, but completely necessary given the current situation.

We’ll keep the ukulele jam event up to date and will cancel the dates week by week, given we don’t know when we’ll be able to restart.

In the meantime, look after yourselves and keep playing! x

Stretford Uke is a free weekly ukulele jam and monthly singalong at The Sip Club, Stretford. Just bring your ukulele and the songbook.

Weekly Jam (every Tuesday from 7:30pm)

Our weekly jam takes place every Tuesday from 7:30pm and is broken into two sessions. The first session is aimed at beginners, with a published songlist and lasts about an hour. The second session is an open jam with people calling out requests from the songbook. This starts about 8:30pm and goes on until 10:30pm.

Big Ukulele Singalong (3rd Friday of every month from 8pm)

Our monthly Big Ukulele Singalong happens on the 3rd Friday of every month and is open to everyone, whether you play ukulele or not. It starts at 8pm and goes on until we get too tired or drink too much! Usually about 11:30pm.

Join in

Want to join us? Just come down with your ukulele and songbook. Though we usually have the songbook on the screen and a few spare ukes, if you want to just give it a go. We’re a friendly bunch!

If you don’t want to play and just fancy coming along. Just turn up, grab a drink and join in!
