Well, rain was never going to stop play at Stretford Uke, on this rather soggy Tuesday June evening. There was a great turnout for our nineteenth jam, despite the weather.
The 21st May saw Stretford Uke return for our 16th ukulele jam at The Sip Club, armed with an updated songlist and songbook, plus another slightly different layout. There was a fantastic turnout and a few new faces, which was really great to see!
The 14th May saw our 15th ukulele jam at The Sip Club, which I’m pleased to say has recently been awarded Best Community Pub for 2019 by CAMRA Trafford and Hulme.
The 30th April saw us back at The Sip Club for our thirteenth jam on another bright and warm spring evening. Following the glorious Easter weekend, we were back at a rather warm Sip Club for our twelfth ukulele jam. Afters last week’s changes to the songlist and songbook, there were no new changes this week.
On the 16th April, we were back for our eleventh ukulele jam at The Sip Club, armed with an updated songbook and songlist. New on the songlist this week were The Crystals’ Da Doo Ron Ron and The Tokens’ The Lion Sleeps Tonight.
The 9th April saw us return to The Sip Club for our 10th ukulele jam. It’s ten weeks since we started and it was great to see another fantastic turnout of regulars.
It’s now eight weeks since the first Stretford Uke jam and it’s great to see we’re still getting a really good turnout each week. We’re definitely seeing quite a few regular faces and we’re sounding better each week.
